Mariet Stiers

Circular economy is, in my opinion, indispensable in the fight against climate change. It takes into account the limits of our planet, which would inevitably be encountered in a traditional linear economy.

Bio

Mariet Stiers graduated in June 2023 with a master's degree in law from UHasselt. Currently, she is working at the same institution as a researcher, where her work primarily revolves around legal dimensions pertaining to the circular economy. Her research is principally centered on two core domains: the advancement of circular economy principles within the construction industry on the one hand and reporting obligations concerning the circular economy on the other.
